LESSONS LEARNED from PHAT CAMP

"Treat your body like a temple, not a woodshed. The mind and body work together. Your body needs to be a good support system for the mind and spirit. If you take good care of it, your body can take you wherever you want to go, with the power and strength and energy and vitality you will need to get there."

Jim Rohn

I feel GREAT! The year is sure flying by and I am excited to say I am loving life and loving the feeling of accomplishing the goals I have set for my 40 things to do before I turn 40! I know...I know...I have to post that list so you can join in on some of the fun I have this year!

I am sorry for the delay in getting an update on this blog for anyone that is following...I can promise you that if you want to know what is going on with me just be my friend on facebook and join my fan club there! I update 24/7 there and pretty much try to cover all of the hats that I wear from being a top REALTOR, to training and speaking across the US and sharing with others the power of using SendOutCards...All of those hats provide income...which is a great thing but the one thing I am finding I love this year is the fitness fun I am having...It does not pay but it sure does ROCK!

My company, The 3 B Method: Living Life Busy, Balanced and Blessed has always had a focus on taking care of yourself and being healthy...I am not a personal physical trainer so it has been really easy for me to send people to my International Champion Fitness trainer and friend Jen Hendershott for help when it comes to dialing into personal eating and training. Her entire team of trainers are really the best in the industry...Not just as trainers but as real women that really care about you and your personal results.

So, with that said...A huge TO DO on the 40 things to do before I turn 40 was to experience one of Jen's Phat Camps personally! A full weekend of her endurance training and mental stripping of any excuses you could have about WHY you can't be in the best condition for your own body. I signed up as a real kick off of my 10 weeks before possible bikini competition I thought...WHY NOT...I NEED TO BE SORE!

OMG! What a weekend. I will honestly say that I am sure you have read about me training with her and Lishia and Morgan but this camp was a true life changing experience. Oh, and yes...I was sore for a week. I learned that epsom salt baths and sleeping with heating pads do work for soreness!

Here is what else I learned from the PRO...

Love your body at any and every stage...

NO bad food will taste as being HEALTHY will feel...

There is no miracle pill, no diet plan that will work other than switching the MIND to I CAN and I WILL and combining proper INPUT and OUTPUT of clean food, water and sweat!

I can't wait to post my pics. I know I went into the Camp weighing 140. 7 lbs down from my average and as of today I am around 133...I LOVE what I am eating...here is a layout of it - I am sure it will change soon but until then it is SO GOOD!

2 scoops of Solution 5  - I mix it with my coffee and it is YUMMY!

1/4 cup Quaker Oatmeal and 6 strawberries YUMMY

A mexican salad that has just a little brown rice, lettuce, chicken, salsa and black beans YUMMY

A mid afternoon snack

6 0z of white fish and 1 cup of greens

5 egg whites and lil bit of fat free cheese and one more taste of salsa!

I am shrinking with this! I love it and I have lots of energy...

My weakness is water so I know I have to PUSH this and I have to get in 1.5 hours or more of cardio - I have learned the difference in training my old way and training to change your body...There is a huge difference and I can tell you MY BODY IS CHANGING AND I LOVE IT!

Lynn started his eating plan with me as well but he lost too much in his 1st week so he has still been able to eat, eat, eat until this weekend... We both are now in this together and it has been a nice new support for each other that although has been there for years as he competed, he is seeing I am really serious and really in this FOR REAL!

Pics coming soon!

If you are following this I encourage you to go to GETPHATONLINE.com and I encourage you to follow your own dreams! You only live once! DREAM it...LIVE it...

Here is me holding my shirt to squeeze a small waste look with my new friend Susan Torres who has a very motivational story! Be her friend on facebook and follow her success for some real inspiration. She also use to weigh over 200 lbs!

My dear friend and work out partner LD! Lishia Dean also has a super blog you can follow. She is a super person and will be PRO in 2010 I am sure!

I met Lisa at camp and we have been training in Burlington together and texting to keep each other motivated. Recent snow has kept us at home but we have still been moving our BUTTS!

I am not sure how I missed not getting a picture with Jen to share here...Maybe at another camp when I am ready to show her my faster crab walks and spider walks without dragging my bottom on the floor! Hee Hee Hee

Night Friends!
